Hi, we're Kristen and Josh, the husband and wife team behind The Timber Shed!

I started scroll sawing in 2020 while I stayed home with the kids. It was a way to keep myself busy, and creating gifts for others has always been a joy. That hobby slowly grew and evolved over time, eventually leading us to our first laser engraver. Learning new techniques and figuring out what it really means to build something of our own sparked a passion neither of us expected.

We have two beautiful boys and are dog parents to three, our house is crazy and chaotic, but we wouldn't have it any other way. What started as a hobby of mine has grown into something Josh and I are building together, not only for us, but for our boys too. Today, we create personalized laser-engraved gifts and jewelry right here in North Carolina, made one order at a time, whether that's a single custom piece for you or a larger bulk order for a business or team.
